We find that when Christ died on the cross the veil of the temple was torn in two from the top to the bottom.This is symbolic of his taking away the old Covenant of the sacrifice of animals and became the sacrificial Lamb to bring us the New Covenant.

“And Jesus cried with a loud voice,and gave up the ghost.And the veil of the temple was rent(torn)in twain(two)from the top to the bottom”.(Mark 15:37,38).

We are the house of God through the Holy Spirit,the pillar and ground of the truth found only in Christ. “But if I tarry long,that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God,which is the church of the living God,the pillar and ground of the truth.And without controvery great is the mystery of Godliness:God was manifest in the flesh(Christ),justifies in the spirit,seen of angels,preached unto the Gentiles,believed on in the world,received up into Glory”.(1 Timothy 3:15,16).

We have a high priest(Christ)who sits at the right hand of God so that we may now Boldly come before his throne of Grace and make petition to the Father by the name of Jesus!

“This is the Covenant that I will make with them after those days,saith the Lord,I will put my laws into their hearts,and in their minds will I write them;And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.Now where remission of these is,there is no more offering for sin.Having therefore,brethren,boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,By a new and living way,which he hath consecrated for us,through the veil,that is to say,his flesh;and having a high priest over the house of God”.(Hebrews 10:16-21).

When the old way(Moses) is taught the veil remains over a persons heart.It is written until a heart turns to the Lord will the veil be removed! “And not as Moses,which put a veil over his face,that the children of Israel could not steadfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:But their minds were blinded:for until this day remaineth the same veil untaken away in the reading of the old testament(Old Covenant);which veil is done away in Christ.But even unto this day,when moses is read,the veil is upon their heart.Nevertheless,when it shall turn to the Lord,the veil shall be taken away”.(2 Corinthians 3:13-16).

The true church has been purchased by the blood of Christ. “But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come,by a greater and more perfect tabernacle,not made with hands,that is to say,not of this building;Neither by the blood of goats and calves,but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place,having obtained eternal redemption for us”.(Hebrews 9:11,12).

To God Be The Glory for sending his only begotten son to save us from the sin which so easily besets us!
