AN ENTRY TO HEAVEN
Jesus did so much when He walked among men, and it was not until He died on the cross did the true power open unto us all as the veil of the temple was tore from the top to the bottom allowing us entry ti Heaven itself! (Matthew 27:50-54) Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.
Death was conquered and the world now has a High Priest that has entered heaven itself on our behalf. (Hebrews 9:24). It is written the first covenant was made with a worldly sanctuary where man worshipped, and when Christ was sent to be the sacrifice of all time by the shedding of His own blood and not of animals for man now is able to be cleansed and sanctified by being purged of dead works. ( Hebrews 9:1-3,11-14). Then verily the first covenant had also ordinances of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary. For there was a tabernacle made; the first, wherein was the candlestick, and the table, and the shewbread; which is called the sanctuary. And after the second veil, the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of all; But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
The veil at the time of Moses in the Old Testament was upon his face for the brightness which shone upon it. (Exodus 34:33-35), but as long as people refuse the truth of Christ shed blood has purchased His church there still remains a veil upon their heart and their minds are blinded unless they believe the truth of all Christ did to set them free. (2 Corinthians 3:13-18),(Isaiah 25:7). And not as Moses, which put a veil over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
