The first to find grace with God and whose generations were perfect towards him was a man named Noah. “But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God”.
(Genesis 6:8,9).
Every perfect gift comes from above, and is given by the Father of lights. “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning”.( James 1:17). We are born of God when we obey him and receive the Holy Ghost for that obedience . “Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men. The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree. Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins. And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him”.(Acts 5:29-32).
Solomon was a great example of what is expected from his people which is a willing heart and a ready mind, for he searches all of us to see if our hearts and minds are set on him. “And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the Lord seareth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thought: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever”.(1 Chronicles 28:9).
There is so much joy and peace to be of one accord with another, and when people learn the way of Christ and gain knowledge of him in God the saints are then perfected. “And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ. Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ”.
(Ephesians 4:11-13).
To those in Jesus’ day which had faith and believed for healing and also in our day as well we find that through faith and the Holy Spirit we are healed and made whole. “And when the men of that place had knowledge of him, they sent out into all that country round about, and brought unto him all that were diseased; And besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment: and as many as touched were made perfectly whole”.
(Matthew 14:35,36).
Everything about God and his way is perfect and we are made perfect and complete when we believe and trust in him! “As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him. For who is God save the Lord? or who is a rock save our God? It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect”.
(Psalm 18:30-32).
