Spring through summer we see the beautiful plants grow, blossom and bear fruit, and when the season is over it dries up and becomes brittle and easily broken. God views us the same way as a planting that through his instruction we grow and bear fruit and scatter seeds of the truth of the word to feed many. God also see’s the wicked as briars and tares which will one day be bundled and burned while the wheat (his people) will be gathered into barns at harvest. (Matthew 13:26-30). But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
We have heard people say Oh they are a thorn in my side as they speak of a troublemaker, but the day will come when those who caused the trouble will view in those they have bothered are sanctified and are the blessed people of the Lord. (Ezekiel 28:24-26). And there shall be no more a pricking brier unto the house of Israel, nor any grieving thorn of all that are round about them, that despised them; and they shall know that I am the Lord GOD. Thus saith the Lord GOD; When I shall have gathered the house of Israel from the people among whom they are scattered, and shall be sanctified in them in the sight of the heathen, then shall they dwell in their land that I have given to my servant Jacob. And they shall dwell safely therein, and shall build houses, and plant vineyards; yea, they shall dwell with confidence, when I have executed judgments upon all those that despise them round about them; and they shall know that I am the LORD their God.
Many who love the Lord have had dreams and visions which is written would happen …..Joel 2:28-32., but did you know that Pilates wife was given a dream about Jesus and tried to tell Pilate not to bother that just man! Is it any wonder he was the bearer of our sin’s and wore a crown of thorn’s! (Matthew 27:17-19,24). Therefore when they were gathered together, Pilate said unto them, Whom will ye that I release unto you? Barabbas, or Jesus which is called Christ? For he knew that for envy they had delivered him. When he was set down on the judgment seat, his wife sent unto him, saying, Have thou nothing to do with that just man: for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him. When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it.
