” The Hewn One “

To be hewn of God is to be formed of an eternal substance, and it is written Christ died and rose again on the third day just as we too will one day do as well. We are to put on the mind of Christ and the Holy Spirit brings the promises of the God we serve if we truly repent of any sin! (Hosea 6:1,2). Come, and let us return unto the Lord: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.

We are clay formed by the wisdom of the former prophets, and by the living word we are slain to the obedience of the Lord. Since Christ is the ultimate sacrifice made for the sins of the world we claim the mercy and knowledge of God. (Hosea 6:5,6). Therefore have I hewed them by the prophets; I have slain them by the words of my mouth: and thy judgments are as the light that goeth forth. For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.

We have been given by the finger of God his commandments hewn in stone to this very day to follow. (Exodus 31:18). And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.

For those who follow after righteousness, we are to look to the Rock from which we are hewn…….God our Father. (Isaiah 51:1). Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the Lord: look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged.
