We can in our own power try to juggle all life hands us, it is not until we truly surrender to the will of God are things restored unto us. We are made complete in Him. The twenty third psalm has been known as what is to be read at a funeral, but if we take the time to read it we find this psalm is for the living and the comfort it brings to us throughout our life! (Psalm 23:3). He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
In the book of Joel we find that the day of the Lord is not to be dreaded by those who hope in Him, but it will be a time when all the loss we endured will be restored to us once again. (Joel 2:23-27). Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month. And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with wine and oil. And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed. And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the Lord your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.
What a sheer blessing the woman received who suffered with an issue of blood for twelve years even after seeking treatment and spending much to get well. When by faith she knew if she touched the clothes of Jesus she would be made whole and restored! (Mark 5:25-34).
For whatever the reason one does not come to Christ, maybe because of being ridiculed or shunned……… There should be no reason for staying away from the only life who was willing to die to give us an eternal place when we leave this temporary one. He truly is The Way, The Truth and The Life of all who come to Him.
