” Dying To Live “

We all have a set time we are upon the earth with every moment being seen of God who has created us. (Psalm 139:1-4). To only see this life as all there is can and does cause many to get depressed and without hope. This is where faith is so important, for there is so much hope our Lord has given us to believe in when the world and its ways has taken away our joy. Look to the one who died to give you eternal life! When we die to self our faith is increased for whether we live or die we are the Lords. (Romans 14:6-9)  He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks. For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s. For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living…….. ( Romans 8:22-25).

Ask any Christian who truly loves the Lord and they will tell you how real life began when they repented and gave their life to Christ! There is not one person in this life who can offer us a life that will never end after we leave this one. It is written if we sow to the flesh we shall reap corruption, but if we sow to the spirit we will reap life everlasting. To die to self is not easy but is very beneficial to the saving of our soul. There will always be people to hinder your walk with Christ so just keep in mind your life is hid in Christ and set your affection on things above. (Colossians 3:1-10).  If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: For which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience: In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them. But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

Philippians 1:20-21

According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death. For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
