” The Most Important Election “

ah0RC5BNLT

Turn on the t.v. and all we hear about is who is the best of the candidates running for election, and yes we do need our government as even scripture tells us we are to submit ourselves to the regulations of man, but only for the Lords sake they punish evildoers as they should and give praise unto those who do what is right when dealing with various matters. (1 Peter 2:13-18). Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well. For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men: As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God. Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king. Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward.

There is an election however each and every one of us has the chance to be part of and of this election the participants do not have to be re-elected, but are chosen by one who will establish a government based on only righteousness and justice! The government of our Lord. (Isaiah 9:6-7).  For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

You may think there is no benefit to be part of such an election, but in the final days and at the return of Christ our Saviour He has made it possible for His elects sake that their days will be shortened in the suffering that will come upon the earth. (Mark 13:19-23).

God’s grace is upon His elect and in the race of a lifetime may we be found worthy to of been chosen by Him! (John 15:16).  Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
