There are people who cross our path in this life and it seems even our life is blessed because of them as though their presence blesses and gives us peace. Scripture teaches us that this is very true as we see when Jacob said to Laban that he should send him away, but Laban said he had learned by experience that he was blessed by the Lord because of him! (Genesis 30:25-27). And it came to pass, when Rachel had born Joseph, that Jacob said unto Laban, Send me away, that I may go unto mine own place, and to my country. Give me my wives and my children, for whom I have served thee, and let me go: for thou knowest my service which I have done thee. And Laban said unto him, I pray thee, if I have found favour in thine eyes, tarry: for I have learned by experience that the Lord hath blessed me for thy sake.
Some people come into our lives for different reasons and at different times, some we realize the importance of them being with us while at other times after they have gone we see why God placed them in our life and the reason become clear. This is best explained in a passage from 1 Corinthians 3:5-9 how together with God we are laborers for one common cause to further His kingdom, as one may plant yet another may water, but it is God who gives the increase and brings about His perfect plan. (1 Corinthians 3:5-9). Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man? I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase. Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour. For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.
