This post is dedicated to my mother and father-in-law who through the years have seen and heard many things which could only be possible by the strong faith they hold in God!
It is written what is impossible with man is possible with God, and it is the deep faith we have in Him that brings to pass the miraculous actions of God into our life. It was the faith Daniel had in God that made it possible for him to remain unharmed after being put into the lion’s den!(Daniel 6:18-23).
The Israel of God that is His redeemed people of whom walk by faith and not by sight know the power God is capable of, and know that no matter what seems impossible in the natural world is made possible by the one true living God they serve (Isaiah 43:1-7). But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee. Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life. Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west; I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth; Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.
When we read through the scripture it is seen that those whose lives were lived by faith seemed very different as seen in the story of Noah. If newspapers were available at that time the headlines would read:” Man builds massive boat on dry land “or perhaps in Moses day “Man leads many on dry land, through a parted red sea”(Acts 7:34-39).God makes the impossible, possible but only through the faith we have in Him! Just as Abraham received the promises of God by faith, we too inherit the same promises in our days(Hebrews 6:10-15). For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end: That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises. For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself, Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee. And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.
Let brotherly love continue. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
