“Without Cause”

n1114p330

It is very good to have a neighbor who is there if help is needed, but to go against your neighbor without a cause God does not look kindly upon (Proverbs 3:29-30), 29 Devise not evil against thy neighbour, seeing he dwelleth securely by thee.30 Strive not with a man without cause, if he have done thee no harm. (Proverbs 24:28).

At the sermon on the mount Jesus addressed the importance of if anyone kills another they are in danger of the judgment, but anger does just as much damage as He says if one is angry with their brother without a cause is also in danger of judgment!(Matthew 5:21-24). 21 Ye have heard that it was said of them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.23 Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;24 Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.
