God is renewing the earth back to its original beauty as it was in the Garden of Eden. All the worlds’ event’s we are seeing with the weather like earthquakes, floods, and fires are His way of restoring the earth back to the way it was first created. Matthew 24 tells us of the many things which will take place before the return of Christ. The Lord of Lords and King of Kings will one day return to a beautifully restored earth where He will one day reign for all eternity! The redeemed of the Lord await the day when so long ago the disciples asked Jesus how to pray and the words He had given will one day come to pass “Thy Kingdom come Thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven” for heaven will be upon this earth forever! (Revelation 11:15).  And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

Just before the return of Christ will the powers of heaven be shaken and there will be signs in the sun, moon, and stars and upon the earth distress of nations. Many believe the blood moon to be a separate event happening in the heavens, but it is an atmospheric event of what is happening upon the earth that the moon will appear red. (Luke 21:25-28).  And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

We see clearly in the book of Joel that it is after God pours our His Spirit upon the people which allows His truth to be preached in all the earth there will be wonders not only in the heavens, but also in the earth as well. It will be the blood, fire, and pillars of smoke that will cause the sun to be darkened and then moon into blood before the terrible day of the Lord! (Joel 2:27-32). And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the Lord your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed. And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord come. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call.
