Mocking God’s Healing Power

By Julia and CJ

In the news is a researcher claiming Christ could heal and perform miracles only because of marijuana. Yes you read that right. The Daily mail reports:

“Cannabis researcher Chris Bennett wrote in an article in the US drugs magazine High Times: ‘The ancient anointed ones were literally drenched in this potent mixture.

‘The medical use of cannabis during that time is supported by archaeological records.’

Bienenstock added that anyone healed by cannabis-lined oils would have seen the practice as a ‘miracle’.

Citing old Hebrew manuscripts and a scripture from Exodus, of God teaching about anointing oils they lay out the most blasphemous mocking of Christ and the Holy Spirit, to date.
Paul taught us in the New Testament about our roots, our Jewish roots and he used the analogy of a vine which he said if God cut off the original branch why do you think that he would not cut off the grafted in branch? The church has failed miserably when it comes to this teaching. It’s failed to teach that entire Bible is Gods inerrant word. Its worldly, new age views have downplayed the importance of where we came from and where we’re headed. As a follower of Christ we must not forget or fail to show the deity of Christ. He was not just a man. He is the Son of God, He and the Father are One along with the Holy Spirit. Gods healing power is shown throughout history, throughout the Bible.
“Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise.”  Jeremiah 17:14

“Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.” James 5:14-15

He said, “If you listen carefully to the LORD your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the LORD, who heals you.” Exodus 15:26

“Worship the LORD your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you…” Exodus 23

This latest vicious attack by mocking God and attempting to show or prove the miracles of Christ false are blasphemous and doctrines of demons. A researcher has claimed pot is in the Bible and its use in biblical times is fact. He said this is how Christ performed healing miracles. In the first place, cannabis does not heal anything!
If it did there would be no cancer, no HIV, no sickness period. In the second place the power of the Holy Spirit given by God cannot be bought, it cannot be seen, it is not a magic potion or drug.
You either believe in Christ’s deity or you don’t, as Christians we have eye witness testimony as to who and what He is and still yet many deny Him.

The disciples were instructed to wait until they were endued with power from on high(Luke 24:49).Power from above did not come from any plant source, but directly from God Himself by the holy spirit!

To say Jesus used cannibus to heal and perform miracles is to belittle the whole purpose of what He endured as He was wounded for our transgressions and bruised for our iniquities. It was not cannibus which brought healing to the nations, but “By His stripes WE ARE HEALED”! (Isaiah 53:4-5). 4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
The words of God are life giving and health to our flesh!

Again we quote from scripture, “do you not have eyes to see or ears to hear?”
