1 Corinthians 10
21Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils.
22 Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than he?
The choices people make in life lead them to where they are today. Bad choices can lead to a life of sin filled with bitterness and rage. Or we can take those bad choices and turn them into Gods purpose for us. Those who choose to follow a dark path know what waits at the end but simply don’t care.
Instead of turning to God as many do they allow those bad choices to strengthen the demonic hold on their life. A wise man once said if you let bitterness reign in your heart you will find yourself one day alone and bitter beyond repair. And it’s true.
1 Corinthians 10:10
10 Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.
One of the reasons the Bible speaks about bitterness and leaving vengeance to God is that it can totally destroy not only a person but a whole society. Negativity and bitterness can destroy whole companies and whole countries. We have seen this ugly beast raising its head in all of history. It may begin as jealousy but morphs into outright hatred built on deception and self-righteousness. Its demonic plain and simple. We see it taught as social justice even in the church.
This is not new either, what’s new today is some churches use scripture to justify their socialistic agenda built on jealousy and hatred. Much as the starting point a decade or more ago with the democratic party we see today. Again, not new. We saw it in ancient history and with the Roman Empire. All the same traits we see today came from history and the presence of demonic spirits and foreign gods.
The Roman Senate was filled with this. And now today we find references from prominent democratic lawmakers making the choice to allow the darkness of demons to possess them. Take lawmaker Cory Booker for example. He announced he was a modern day “Spartacus” and would lead the revolt against our current government. Do you know what this is? Not only do we see, (as we have frequently warned of) ancient evil spirits and false gods controlling those in power, but we see the demonic darkness that destroyed Rome from within.
“Spartacus was a Thracian gladiator who, along with the Gauls Crixus, Gannicus, Castus, and Oenomaus, was one of the escaped slave leaders in the Third Servile War, a major slave uprising against the Roman Republic. “(Wikipedia)
I suppose it’s accepted because it was a slave uprising. Do you see the Parallels? The media and democrats would have you believe that this is a grand idea. The problem is its manifest from hatred, self-righteousness and bitterness. It would have us believe that the only freedom exists with their utopian ideas.
The answer is not in a revolt as they would have us believe. It’s not in vile displays of violence, but in a revival, an awakening back to God.
Then there’s female lawmakers stating they conjure spirits of women’s rights advocates to speak to them. Using this dark satanic imagery to control the public (especially women) into compliance with dark ideology.
We choose Christ and God’s words, allowing no control over their deception. We choose a life with Christ, over promises of a one world order with social justice for all. A choice to live eternally with God, not satan. Satan has been promising a paradise of living eternally from the beginning, filled with pleasures and wealth for all. Whole empires have followed him. Christ rejected this.
He rejected it so we might have the paradise God intended before mans original sin that led to rejection of God. The choice is ours choose wisely. We have come so far but there is a demonic force at work that wants to tear it all down and rebuild it into the government warned of in Revelation. A government body and entity that worships itself as god.
How many have witnessed someone choosing a life of darkness that leads to destruction? We have many times and it’s very hard to watch.
People may not realize it, but God gives us a wake up call or two throughout our life and we are shown our sin and expected to turn from it unto God.
5 Behold, God is mighty, and despiseth not any: he is mighty in strength and wisdom.6 He preserveth not the life of the wicked: but giveth right to the poor.7 He withdraweth not his eyes from the righteous: but with kings are they on the throne; yea, he doth establish them for ever, and they are exalted.8 And if they be bound in fetters, and be holden in cords of affliction;9 Then he sheweth them their work, and their transgressions that they have exceeded.10 He openeth also their ear to discipline, and commandeth that they return from iniquity.11 If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.12 But if they obey not, they shall perish by the sword, and they shall die without knowledge.
We are instructed there will be a time when people will be busy deceiving others and they themselves also will be deceived, we are to remember the word of God that we have learned even from a child and the knowledge we learned of the Lord that will keep us and protect us!(2 Timothy 3:12-17)
Choose light over darkness, choose life over death.
