God is picking his bouquet

When I was young and a loved one passed away who truly loved the Lord my mother would say God is picking His bouquet. She would say God knows those who are His,of course I was young and did not think much about it.As I grew older her words rang true as I read the words she spoke in scripture that God really does know nthose who are His(2 Timothy 2:19).19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

We are many things to God including being His friend for those who do His will and follow His commands!(John 15:12-16).12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.
16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

We are carved in the palm of His hand and are the apple of His eye.To see Gods people as a beautiful bouquet makes sense as we are known as a sweet savour of Christ to Him(2 Corinthians 2:14-17).14 Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.
15 For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish:
16 To the one we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things?
17 For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.
