The devices of satan never changes

The adversary of our soul has a bag of tricks that cause many to fall prey to from hate, greed, addiction, lying, temptation and the list goes on. The greatest deception satan has going for him is that many do not believe he even exists. As long as he has people blinded to the fact that he is real in the earth he can carry out his cunning ways. He has one agenda and that is to kill, steal and destroy those who love the Lord, and our Lord who is the shepherd of His sheep is well aware of it (John 10:8-11) All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.  The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.  I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

He did not go away after tempting Adam and Eve in the garden of eden,we see him alive and well in the book of Chronicles provoking David to number Israel which God did not want (1 Chronicles 21:1).

Let’s not forget how he was right there trying to tempt God to allow Job to suffer so that he would curse God to His face. He has been around a very long time as we see in the following passages (Job 1:6-12) Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them. And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?: Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought? Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land. But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face. And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD.

Remember satan swoops in at our most vulnerable and lowest moments of our life. When Jesus did not eat for forty days and forty nights we find satan right there tempting Jesus by saying (Matthew 4:1-11) If thou be the Son of God,command that these stones be made bread.

The enemy of us all wants nothing more than to remove the word of God from the heart’s of all who believe on the name of Christ! (Mark 4:14,15).
