The love found in Christ is something no christian wants to be seperated from. Although there are many things that could seperate us as we endure many hardships in our life,we are fortunate that not one of them can take us from the enduring love of Christ.(Romans 8:35-39) 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Thankfully not even death can separate us from our Saviour, and this gives us great comfort when we suffer the loss of a loved one. We know if they believed in Christ and served Him we will never be separated and will see them again. For our Lord has the power to abolish death!(1 Corinthians 15:55-58) 55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? 56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord (2 Timothy 1:8-10).
The living power of Christ is something we can count on throughout our life and in the world to come,as the knowledge of Christ and the power of God are the only things that transcends time and are eternal!(Ephesians 1:19-23) 19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, 20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, 21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: 22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, 23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
