Faith is believing in the unseen and knowing in Gods realm all things exist. It is by HOPE we are saved (Romans 8:24-27) 24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? 25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. 26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

We see a great show of faith and HOPE on Abrahams part who was well past the years of fathering children and his wife Sarah as well. Yet against all odds and HOPE He against all HOPE believed in HOPE (Romans 4:17-20) 17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. 18 Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. 19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb: 20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God.

We are given an excellent lesson in the book of Ecclesiastes on while we have our life we have HOPE, for once we die all will perish with us and we are forgotten. So while we live and have our being may we use our time wisely with the chance to fulfill all God has called us to accomplish (Ecclesiastes 9:4-7) 4 For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion. 5 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. 6 Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun. 7 Go thy way, eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy wine with a merry heart; for God now accepteth thy works.

  1. Where would we be with out the hope of our salvation? As I advance in years, it has only grown bolder and stronger and march toward what I cannot see with great anticipation. Be blessed and stay healthy my friend!

    • I hear you Debra Ann…… Salvation is one of the best gifts God has given to us! The longer we are in the Lord the more the worlds ways fade as we set our sights on that which is eternal and not temporary. Stay strong in Him dear friend.
