Gods hope is that the body of Christ will join together in unity, and that all will be unified in the knowledge of His Son! (Ephesians 4:11-16) 11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: 14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: 16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
It is difficult to understand there are people who believe God loves absolutely everything and they will even make excuses to support those who choose evil, that somehow such people will escape Gods final judgment. We read in the book of proverbs there are seven things God hates, and one is those who sow discord among the brethren. The unity of Christ is something God expects of those who do His will (Proverbs 6:16-19) 16 These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, 18 An heart that deviseth wic ked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, 19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.
Abraham knew that brethren should not be at odds with one another and kept peace between He and Lot when there was arguing between the herdmen of His cattle and of Lots (Genesis 13:6-9) 6 And the land was not able to bear them, that they might dwell together: for their substance was great, so that they could not dwell together. 7 And there was a strife between the herdmen of Abram’s cattle and the herdmen of Lot’s cattle: and the Canaanite and the Perizzite dwelled then in the land. 8 And Abram said unto Lot, Let there be no strife, I pray thee, between me and thee, and between my herdmen and thy herdmen; for we be brethren. 9 Is not the whole land before thee? separate thyself, I pray thee, from me: if thou wilt take the left hand, then I will go to the right; or if thou depart to the right hand, then I will go to the left.
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! (Psalm 133:1)
Love that verse Psalm 133:1
There’s force in unity
Amen Brother……Unity is hard to come by, but is so needful in the body of Christ. Be Blessed.

Every community that neglected unity are are suffering it. Wisdom is mightier than strength
So true…. As written people perish for lack of knowledge……. I agree wisdom truly is mightier than strength….. How different the world would be if people understood this.
