Reconciliation…What A Gift!

To be reconciled is to be restored back as new. Jesus was sent to reconcile us back to God our Father. Jesus was here in the flesh, yet it was God walking among us. The people who had the joy of actually seeing Christ what an amazing time that must of been with how people need to see to believe. This is why Jesus would say blessed are those who have not seen yet believe. That is us! We have the ability through faith to see the unseen and have prayers answered just by going to the throne of God! “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation”.(2 Corinthians 5:17-19).

By Jesus paying the price for our sins at the cross has made it possible for us to approach the throne of God. He made us able to become fellow citizens with the saints through the Spirit and building of a temple in the Lord. “Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity (enemy) thereby: And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow-citizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit”.(Ephesians 2:15-22).

We are made kings and priests of  the ministry of Jesus as he says in the book of Revelation, and has washed us clean from our sin in his own blood. “And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen”.(Revelation 1:5,6).

Without the love of God who was willing to send his Son to us we would of had no hope, and no way back to the Father. “And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; And having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight”.(Colossians 1:18-22).
