A Mothers Love

In the very beginning of creation Adam called his wife Eve which means life, for she was the mother of all living. (Genesis 3:20).

Nothing compares to the love of a mother and what the family unit means to God the Father. When He gave the ten commandment’s He made sure we would know the importance of our mothers and father’s when He said “Honor your mother and father”. A wise child brings great rejoicing to the mother who bare him ( Proverbs 23:24,25) 24 The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice: and he that begetteth a wise child shall have joy of him. 25 Thy father and thy mother shall be glad, and she that bare thee shall rejoice.

Mothers are not only biological they can also be one who adopts us or are a mother figure in our life. How beautiful a picture we see of how much Jesus loved His mother and saw to it she would be well taken care of at His death, and this shows us just how great a mother Mary had been to Him that He made provision for her well being! (John 19:25-27) 25 Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene. 26 When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son! 27 Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home.

The unconditional love of a mother will never replace the riches this life offers, for her love could never be bought as the price of it could never be attained! A mothers love is something that does not change over time, but stays forever true just as God created and intended it to be!
