A Change For The Better

Until we become aware of the will of God in our life and that the world cannot give us the true peace our souls are longing for, we find Christ is the change for the better we need! (Romans 12:2)  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God……. (John 14:27).

As Christians we know having a clear conscience before God means a lot, which is why when we suffer for doing what we know is right we suffer it gladly knowing its better than for suffering for doing anything evil. (1 Peter 3:12-17).  For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good? But and if ye suffer for righteousness’ sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled; But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ. For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.

When Jesus said He is The Way, The Truth, and The Life we can be sure His way is best for us and the truth of His word is for all eternity, but best of all is that life in Him is the only life worth living. In Christ we are made the righteousness of God, and the change others see in us we pray makes a change in them as well for the better. May we speak the living word so that they too may be saved! (1 Timothy 4:14-16) Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery. Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all. Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

BE THE CHANGE YOU HOPE TO SEE IN OTHERS…………..
