There is a REMNANT of the people of God that through the generations have stayed true to his way. It is this people who in the last days will tell of the knowledge of God and of the kingdom that will reign for all eternity for it is the Kingdom of God and the power of his Christ!(Revelation 12:10,17) And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before before our God day and night. And the dragon was wroth(angry) with the woman, and went to make war with the REMNANT of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

  It is by grace and not works the election has followed and obtained the truth while the others were blinded with a spirit of slumber unto this day! Moses made intercession to God against Israel and therefore they sought his life (Romans 11:2-8) God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of E-li’-as? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying, Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life. But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Ba’-al. Even so at this present time also there is a REMNANT according to the election of grace. And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work. What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded. (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day. The seven thousand reserved REMNANT (1 Kings 19:18).

 God’s people serve the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and it is important to note at this point God renamed Jacob=Israel,and it is the Israel of God who are God’s Children of Inheritance. “And God said unto him, Thy name is Jacob: thy name shall not be called any more Jacob, but Israel shall be thy name: and he called his name Israel”.(Genesis 35:10).  (Isaiah 48:10-12) Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction. For mine own sake, even for mine own sake, will I do it: for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another. Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called: I am he; I am the first, I also am the last.

 The sheep shall be scattered by pastors who teach falsely and send their flocks to find the truth of the word which will lead them to the shepherds God himself has appointed to teach his truth to the people! This will be the REMNANT that was scattered throughout all countries! (Jeremiah 23:1-4) Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the Lord. Therefore thus saith the Lord God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the Lord. And I will gather the REMNANT of my flock out of the countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase. And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith the Lord

  In our present day as we look around and see so many riot’s among the people and heart’s so full of hatred for their fellow man God’s promises still stand sure and should not to be taken lightly, he truly Loves his people and the following verse’s shows just how much (Micah 4:5-7). For all people will walk every one in the name of his god, and we will walk in the name of the Lord our God for ever and ever. In that day, saith the Lord, will I assemble her that halteth, and I will gather her that is driven out, and her that I have afflicted; And I will make her that halted a REMNANT, and her that was cast far off a strong nation: and the Lord shall reign over them in mount Zion from henceforth, even for ever.

 (Isaiah 1:9) Except the Lord of hosts had left unto us a very small REMNANT, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah.
