There is not many of us who have not worried at one time or another in our life about something, fortunately we have a Saviour who has the ability to give us peace in the midst of worry! When we put our faith in Christ He becomes our burden bearer. (Matthew 11:27-30) All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him. Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

When we allow ourselves to worry it is taking all the Lord has done for us at the cross, and believe it is up to us to continue to mull over the events of the day. When we give our worries and trials to the Lord His peace which passes all understanding soothes our soul, and we have a calmness in knowing no matter what we do not walk alone. (Philippians 4:6,7) Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

When God is the center of our life we believe there is always hope in the times of tragedy and sorrow, or when the concerns of the day overwhelm us. (Psalm 16:8-11) I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope. For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
