Although man tones down the power of God by calling His mighty acts in the earth things such as “Mother Nature” it does not take away the strength and power He accomplishes in the earth.
Hurricanes, Tornadoes, Floods, Fires all are guided by the hand of God! (Psalm 77:18-19) 18 The voice of thy thunder was in the heaven: the lightnings lightened the world: the earth trembled and shook.19 Thy way is in the sea, and thy path in the great waters, and thy footsteps are not known.
God always has and always will be the one who moves through the earth in the weather we encounter all around the world, and as the word of God goes out into the earth and does not return to Him void…… so does the weather accomplish what He sent it to do. This is a bitter pill for some to swallow, but for those who understand God has a judgment in the earth it makes perfect sense as we see in the story of when He poured out His wrath upon Nineveh (Nahum 1:2-7) God is jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies. The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet. He rebuketh the sea, and maketh it dry, and drieth up all the rivers: Bashan languisheth, and Carmel, and the flower of Lebanon languisheth. The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein. Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him. The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.
God tells Job He causes the weather to come over the earth for correction, for His land or for mercy and to this day God still walks the earth so that His will be done for whatever His reason is (Job 37:1-13) At this also my heart trembleth, and is moved out of his place. Hear attentively the noise of his voice, and the sound that goeth out of his mouth. He directeth it under the whole heaven, and his lightning unto the ends of the earth. After it a voice roareth: he thundereth with the voice of his excellency; and he will not stay them when his voice is heard. God thundereth marvellously with his voice; great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend. For he saith to the snow, Be thou on the earth; likewise to the small rain, and to the great rain of his strength. He sealeth up the hand of every man; that all men may know his work. Then the beasts go into dens, and remain in their places. Out of the south cometh the whirlwind: and cold out of the north. By the breath of God frost is given: and the breadth of the waters is straitened. Also by watering he wearieth the thick cloud: he scattereth his bright cloud: And it is turned round about by his counsels: that they may do whatsoever he commandeth them upon the face of the world in the earth. He causeth it to come, whether for correction, or for his land, or for mercy.
The following passages support God truly is the one who guides the weather we endure in the earth!
Job 38:22-29 ….. Exodus 9:22-26 …. Psalm 97:1-6 …. Jeremiah 14:22
Yes! Not for the fictitious “mother nature”!

Psalm 65 v 9-10
You visit the earth and water it, You greatly enrich it; The river of God is full of water; You provide their grain, For so You have prepared it. You water its ridges abundantly, You settle its furrows; You make it soft with showers, You bless its growth.
Thank you Chuck. great reminder of Gods power in the earth!. Be Blessed Always.
