Scripture tells us the people of God are being scattered and destroyed by none other than false preachers and He will gather to Himself the sheep known as the remnant of His flock for He had them driven out of all countries only to gather them again as His own! (Jeremiah 23:1-4) Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the Lord. Therefore thus saith the Lord God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the Lord. And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase. And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith the Lord.

 Surely the Lord could not be talking about us now in this day and time? or is He? In Jesus day the preachers of the temples were upsetting what Jesus came to teach that His house was to be a house of prayer and what He found were people buying and selling as though it were a place of business, yet the chief priests and scribes of the temple were sore displeased at His actions when He overturned the moneychangers! Even though they were called chief priests and scribes in those days sadly enough if Christ were to come back today would He find the same thing happening in our modern day temples (churches)? The answer is a resounding YES! I have went to different churches over the years and the last one I entered offered zumba exercise classes and bingo? so where exactly does teaching the people of Christ fit in here? There are a myriad of places to serve entertaining things people enjoy, but the house of God is not one of them! They are still good at putting God’s holy name on something that does not reflect study and prayer of the word as they did back in the times of the temples!.(Matthew 21:12-15) And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves, And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves. And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them. And when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the son of David; they were sore displeased.

 After over two thousand years we are no closer to learning the message Jesus was sent to the earth to teach the people (His Sheep), Yet we see people are still being scattered by false teachings at buildings who claim to be serving the Lord. This may sound harsh to some, but it would be harsh to those who are upset as the same people in Christs day who thought it was fine to sell doves in the temple. God’s word is unchangeable and His message remains the same to this day. His house is a house of prayer and a place the people serve Him in the spirit of truth! ( John 4:23,24) But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
Joh 4:24  God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.   

  For his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.(1 Peter 2:24,25).

 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus , that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well-pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. (Hebrews 13:20,21).
