         Every real Christian must make a difficult but rewarding decision. He or she must leave home and all that is familiar in order to enter the kingdom of the Lord.

         This world is not my home I’m just a passing through

         My treasures are laid up somewhere beyond the blue       

         The angels beckon me from heaven’s open door

         And I can’t feel at home in this world anymore[1]

  1. The second son’s name is Ephraim – double fruitfulness. It is those who are strangers here in Christ who bear fruit in the land of their wandering. How good is God’s ways.
