God Hears Our Cry

 God who is all powerful hears the cry of His people and not only does He hear our cries while we are alive, but all the innocent lives that are taken by evil hands we know have not died in vain. Just as the blood of Abel cried out from the grave when his brother Cain killed him God hears their cry as well! (Genesis 4:8-10). And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him. And the Lord said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother’s keeper? And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me from the ground.

 When we become overwhelmed and it seems God is so far away, we need to remember we are of more worth to Him for not one sparrow falls without Him knowing it about it. (Luke 12:6-7) Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.

 The shortest passage in scripture teaches us “Jesus Wept” which tells us our Saviour knows the pain of a sorrowful heart, and He understands our hardships. (John 11:35). There is peace in knowing that one day God will wipe away all tears and there will be no more sorrow nor pain or crying!(Revelation 21:4). And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

 Jesus knows and understands suffering for even though He was the Son of God in the flesh He cried and lifted up prayers just as we do today. (Hebrews 5:7-9). Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;
