The doctrine Christ taught is the truth of His Fathers word, yet in many churches today the very same doctrine Jesus taught against is still in practice as though He never walked the earth. It is sad to see with all He taught that the church (temple) is not a place of merchandise, but is a house of prayer. Zumba classes, Bazaars, Raffles and other ways of making money to keep a ministry going does not change His teaching of selling in the temple (church). (Matthew 21:12-13).  And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,  And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

 How many attend a church and become discouraged and keep searching? It is only when we come to the knowledge of the truth Christ taught are we fulfilled, for Jesus did not go into the temple of His day to sit to hear what they were teaching, but to teach the will of His Fathers doctrine and for doing so they wanted to kill Him. (John 7:14-19,28,29).  Now about the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and taught.  And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned?  Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.  He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.  Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law? Why go ye about to kill me?  Then cried Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, Ye both know me, and ye know whence I am: and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye know not.  But I know him: for I am from him, and he hath sent me.

 When His people teach the same doctrine today they receive the same result as the Saviour they follow. Persecution, reproach, shunned and yes told they are thought crazy as Paul was told when he gave his testimony about the road to Damascus as Festus said in a loud voice that he was beside himself and mad (crazy). (Acts 26:12-26).

 Yes the teaching Jesus did was that we are the house of God, and as He told them to tear down the temple and in three days He would rebuild it for when He rose from the grave in three days His church through the Holy Spirit would begin to be built. We are the temple of God within the body of Christ! (John 2:19-22).  Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?  But he spake of the temple of his body.  When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.

We are the temple of God, and are the living stones which build His spiritual house…….. (1 Peter 2:4-10).
