Jesus was seen by the Pharisees and Sadducees as someone who was upsetting their apple cart. They thought there was nothing wrong with selling and buying in the temple, but Jesus overturned the tables of the moneychangers and the seats of those who sold doves. Have things changed today? are there not Bingo’s, Bazaars, and Zumba Classes and the like with other things that are not teaching about God and prayer yet money is changing hands? His house is still the house of prayer and if He were walking our streets today He would be entering in and doing the same thing! (Matthew 21:12-13). And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves, And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.
Jesus speech was probably appalling to many and if anyone seeks His truth today they are reproached for it. The following words are hard to hear yet Jesus pulled no punches and as we would say today He did not hold back speaking the truth that needed to be said such as: Hypocrite, Wicked, and adulterous generation(Matthew 16:1-4). And when the man who had a son that was a lunatic came to the disciples for his healing and they could not Jesus said:”O Faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him hither to me”(Matthew 17:17).
Just think if we were to say the words hypocrite, wicked, adulterous, faithless and perverse today well there is no way we are a Christian then, yet these very words were spoken by the Son of the Living God! Paul knew he was an apostle (not of men, neither by man) but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead. (Galatians 1:1). He knew as an apostle of Jesus that spending time trying to persuade people was both frivolous and a waste of time, for he as well as any one of us who follow the truth found in Christ seek to please God and the gospel we preach is not what the world is used to hearing. Christ’s doctrine is completely different than the doctrine and tradition of men. To this day those who are of God hear His word when it’s spoken and they who are not of God do not hear us, but the voices of the world they do. (1 John 4:4-6). Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. I believe we all use the excuse that “I’m just trying to get along and I don’t hurt anybody” but in doing that “trying to get along” “we are going along cooperating with evil” being a part of “the wicked and crooked ways of the world.” Not resisting or more importantly not stopping it; all the while giving “obedience to sin” while the darkest evil is planting seeds of destruction in your own garden, that will be manifesting as more absolute wickedness and Antichrist thinking allegiance, as we already see with the masses going along with “The Big Lie and Jab” to do your part as they tell you, and fall into line with being a minion of Satan! Which is what we’ve all allowed over the last several decades, being prepared like herd animals for the big slaughter! Very much like during the period leading up to WWII Nazi Germany with Adolph Hitler bringing the forces of hell upon the people; this was exactly how the people cooperated with evil, allowing it to build to a crescendo of debauchery, sin and death!
What did Jesus Christ say and do to the Money-changers! He tossed them out of the Temple not once but twice because they brought shady and greedy business practices into the place of worship and defiled the meaning and purpose of worship. Jesus pointed out that many were using the religious zeal of the people to make a buck and basically exploit! Do you recognize all of the various exploitation’s taking place in your face, and yes, very much so here on the internet daily! Do you see how materialistic and pagan societies have become, where church is ignored by a great majority of people in this current time, and replaced with personal pursuits most if not all of which are about making a buck, feeling good (lusts) or at least looking for attention and adulation, which is love of and worshiping self!
Why do I bring this up? Do we see and recognize what we have become in a world we have created where you turn on a television and most if not all of the programming is foolish trivial nonsense, but, what’s even worse is the viewing experience is riddled or bombarded with Big Pharma pushing drugs for anything they can pigeonhole as a human problem, from aches and pains and depression to anything that can be classified as human illness; as they brain wash the public to seek drugs to solve your health issues, so talk to your doctor and get your prescription that is what you need to solve your problems! And the doctors are more than happy to oblige and push those advertised cure-alls unto a willing public, because they get incentives from Big Pharma and “make a Buck!”
Jesus was angry with the Money-changers for infiltrating the Place of Worship and taking advantage of the people by exploiting them so deceptively which was an evil act! Take into account that our bodies are the temples of our souls; thus our minds, and hearts are interconnected with our spiritual being 24/7; so what we allow into our personal Temples really matters as much and in some cases more than what Jesus was upset about with those Money-changers! Today the exploitation is rampant and the brainwashing is everywhere making we humans a bunch of money grubbing self-serving and even destructive creatures, that are not tending to the most important matters at hand; which should always be “living a life the way our Lord and Savior would be if here now.” We know that we are to give up our possessions and carry our crosses which means in actual living daily life terms to give, not take, being humble servants of God, not a part of a twisted Ways of the World system that is only concerned with taking advantage and using who it and you can for gain! Nearly everyone is living this way and using, while even abusing in many cases others; to get something which can be money but many other things too!
This culture where pornography runs rampant, while “Industrial Scale Abortion” is an everyday acceptable part of the living, but, really is all about death, the murdering of slumbering helpless human beings in the mother’s womb, and now they have even included full-bore infanticide; day of delivery, full term snuffing out of that baby’s lights, because it’s not wanted; so what does a helpless baby matter that isn’t wanted by a sinful, selfish rotten person and world; a now disposable world, where nothing is sacred and most everything is tainted with evil! Life has been so cheapened and defiled that people can actually say they are part of a system that promotes and encourages death over life, and Satan over God! That is where we are, and you had better make up your minds about it, people have become vile wicked creatures in many cases, with zero humanity; but plenty of lip service! In other words if you’re not a part of any solution to all of this evil, then you must be a part of the problem; so are you solving any of the biggest problems? Because we have allowed this world, along with us, to go down this “dark ugly road,” and we are still driving it forward; to “Perdition and complete destructive evil.”
1 Timothy 6:5 “Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.”
2 Peter 2:3 “3 And through covetousness, with well-turned words, will they make merchandise of you: for whom judgment of old is not idle, and their destruction slumbers not.”
Now Jesus was angry because ministry was becoming a business or taking on the appearances of “money grubbing” and it should have nothing to do with such activity! But now carry that over into daily living if we learn from the Holy Scriptures what Jesus Christ is teaching the world about sin is to turn from such things and become sowers of charity and humility in giving, not taking; yet this world now is the worst it ever was and can’t get any worse other than for the human race to put their final nail in humanity’s own coffin; and make this “hell on earth” where there is no law, rules, love or God!
We are on the precipice and the door to hell is wide open now! We are all about to step over the threshold into our new marriage to Satan, after so many of the most secular people have already divorced their relationship with God! That is how bad it’s become, to where we are all active participants in this debauchery and ugliness; that when we really are honest with ourselves and ask, would Jesus approve of all I do each day with my life in regard to others? And then partaking of this business of the internet that is a massive manipulating exploitative tool, being used by the all-powerful “powers that be” those Ways of the World powers who run it, do you really think you are not being used or abused, while perhaps doing the same to others willingly or even unwilling as a participant in a “Culture of Death!”
What we truly need to see is how Jesus wanted us like the Money-changers to be fully cognizant of the dichotomy between God’s way and the way of this world, man’s way, or Satan’s way, however we may wish to look at it; it will always come out that way. When people are challenged and must be faced with the decision of following God or following the money, way too often many of them slip into or pick the latter, the temptation is so strong, and in doing so, that action or lack thereof reveals our true loyalties. The true Christian always puts God first in everything outwardly and inwardly. Jesus made it clear He was against syncretism of beliefs or any blending which so many people do with their lifestyle choices and behaviors or even proposed and supposed faith; but truth be known it simply does not work at all that way with God’s Truth and Jesus is Truth! Our Savior teaches that life cannot be a mixture of two or even more opposite principles; there can be only one foundation upon which you build and show your faith and trust in Him. We cannot serve two masters (Matthew 6:24). We cannot trust in our own works for salvation in Christ, never can we follow the world and God. His new way and everlasting covenant must completely replace our old worldly ways; so that we walk in newness of life, everlasting life in absolute perfection.
Jesus went against the Ways of the World and in so doing turned the world fully against him! Do we see how that action of His set them both apart and against one another for eternity? This corruption today far exceeds exponentially what was going on back during His ministry here on earth; do you really see that! Here is some of the background of what was occurring to give us understanding as to what and who we have become as a civilization and how far we have turned away from God and now seek the world, to solve all of our problems, even a “fraud pandemic” that is being used to manipulate us all to be worshipers of the “man-made world and science” that will be like saying, Satan I’m yours, I put all my trust in you!
“Jesus saw trade in the Temple as a desecration of its true purpose so; maybe with the help of others, he tried to shut down the trade in sacrificial animals and the money-changing that was going on.
He saw the Court of the Gentiles as a sacred place, part of God’s Temple. The general hullabaloo of the area made this impossible, and it angered him.
He made an assessment that the trade and money changing exploited people, especially the poor, by making excessive charges, so he intervened.
Jesus thought the priests and Temple personnel were abusing their sacred roles by being involved in business in a sacred area.
There was already a conflict going on between the Sanhedrin and the High Priest Caiaphas in AD30, when Caiaphas allowed traders to set up markets in the Court of the Gentiles as punitive competition against markets controlled by the Sanhedrin.
What Jesus said at the time is as important as what he did. He was objecting to trade being carried out in the Temple not because of profiteering, but because the Temple precincts have been turned into a place of business, thus violating its divinely intended purpose. He bases this on the words of the prophet Isaiah “my house shall be called a place of prayer’. Now it is a ‘den of thieves”- again, a phrase from another prophet, Jeremiah 7:11.”

Jesus was so upset with the exploitation going on and the abuse, but, think about what kind of people we have become today with so much disgusting sin and debauchery going on from the top government structure in America and on through all business practices and as I pointed out, Big Pharma now a monstrosity devilish tool and machine of the most greedy and wicked minded people on the planet, like Bill Gates, Klaus Schwab, George Soros, Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi or Anthony Fauci, Ayatollah Khomeini, Xi Jinping, Vladimir Putin along with many others; who are only out to get Trillions of dollars and not caring how many of we human beings must be sacrificed by them in the process, and just like all the babies being obliterated; we are all fair game to this evil.

As written “My people perish for lack of knowledge” and it is around us daily. If churches really preached the full gospel they would lose money, because the “GOD IS LOVE MESSAGE” works as though God hates nothing, but we know He does (Proverbs 6:16-19). The collection plates would be empty if the truth were really preached!
You don’t have to tell me twice about all those “Big Pharma” commercials as just the other day I said to my husband I really miss all those commercials for restaurants and products we use.

I know that is just an old term but my intent using it is to show how blown away I am by this fundamentally “a sermon for true believers!” Hearing in my mind and heart your truth spoken words you offer and the reiterating of some of mine is a stirring testimony and blessing; Hallelujah, Emmanuel! This is all so precious and concise and what rings right now as so imperative is how so many people who say they are faithful actually are not and even the ones who go through the motions or give quite the air of being a person of faith, but many are using it almost like a status symbol or to manipulate and gain status with a certain person or group in society or even making a buck, lots of them! First a stark example of this is how politicians play the public for votes and pander to gain favor! A person like Biden or also Pelosi as I know in my heart from genuine life experience and hard learned lessons but also my honest communing with the Holy Spirit tested by fire at times yes; that those persons are far removed from what Jesus Christ taught and expects of a true follower and in following the commitment to His and the Father’s ways not this world! I mean let’s be real how can a man who appropriate 468 $Billion in his first 100 days in office to slaughter the unborn, while flaunting this abomination without concern of any kind and be talking to a fraud pope as a buddy and while great supporters of each other while saying to the world look at me I’m a good Christian and believe, when exactly the opposite is the Truth and he is worshiping this world, himself and Satan yet I say a majority of persons around the globe are OK with that, and even believe him in many cases; so that isn’t the Great Deception and Apostasy in our faces with the Devil laughing at us all? Then I ask myself would God Almighty and Jesus Christ who died on the cross taking all sin and the eternal suffering due for every unholy act or thought which is pretty much the whole human race, while the human race is now seething with contempt and filthy sin, but somehow God would say no worries I got this covered and you guys just do your thing and I’ll see you on the other side when it will all work out fine? NO WAY! God is absolutely Perfect and HOLY so that in itself means he cannot be in the presence of anything unholy or even a deception of any kind; therefore Jesus was and is the only solution to wipe away sin yes, to bridge the chasm between the fallen and the Glorious in Heaven; but only where warranted and deserving! Biden could possibly deserve a pardon for promoting and actively participating with helping the mass murder of slumbering, helpless innocent precious human lives in the womb? Impossible; and never going to happen that is why there is a Hell and eternal damnation or separation to begin with; because absolute evil does exist, so there will be no blending of the two which is what this heretic pope Bergoglio is selling now making him as damned as Biden and even in a way more as if that matters, because he was given this highest position in the Catholic Church to be a great good shepherd to follow in the way saint Peter had with Jesus, but he dares to flaunt this blasphemy in God’s face!
And so many are buying into this evil going along with these evil monsters who serve only hell and will be eternally separated from God which is in the Holy Scriptures plain as day! So my point is when has the world and the majority of the human population been this deceived ever? A woman with an enormous following on here over 50 to 60 thousand getting praises all day long and flaunting her personal life on the internet and in the real Ways of The World like a celebrity and as if she is this fantastic person who loves Jesus as a good Catholic girl as she seeks more fame and money as well as great adulation who I once was following because I was very new to this social media realm and was thinking perhaps she is a good person to keep tabs with. But I found over many months that she is absolutely the wrong thing a person should be saying she is performing a ministry online and using her past difficulty a health issue to minister for the Lord; and she even flaunts young children’s photos, family members, incorporated in her tour of fame using them as props to her made up story as she goes along trying to impress or win over? I have no idea what makes a person tick like that! I asked her a simple question one day; and she never once made a comment on any of my postings just likes, though I did sincerely offer honest perspective and help to anything she posted. But regarding this question, after explaining my own observations of the current pope and mentioned again the several essays I had written about him and the state of affairs in the church, even his soft touch with Biden and others what she thought of him or his actions and she said simply; “I support the pope!” That was when I parted ways because I finally started to see how many loose cannons or twisted hearts and minds exist on the internet causing great damage or more disorientation which they will have to account for when they face God; so I wanted nothing to do with her or her blog!
I dare say even Sodom and Gomorrah or Noah’s time paled in comparison to all of this debauchery today, and this is all absolutely evidence of how the gates of hell are wide open and as you said Satan is taking his last big shot to override all that is good! And he is on a feeding of souls frenzy like never before in all of man’s history; yes I have to tell many folks out there they are screwed and going to hell if they do not wake up fast and put all their efforts into loving Jesus Christ and dedicate themselves to that love for Him alone over anything else even their own lives, then follow as best they can because that is the only way they will not end up in hell, there will be no cutting deals or finagling like the politicians are doing constantly in Washington; so it’s all in and cry out to Jesus to save us or we won’t make it to first base; it will be too little too late! I see so many people talking on this internet about how they are good Christians and they are talking hogwash and think they are fooling somebody and they do, but just other fools and themselves because its God and Jesus they need to be sure believe them! And that takes dedication with genuine heart and soul devotion to Christ! So much falsehood is being propped up and glorified and I say it again this is totally unprecedented and the true sign that the END is near, but still so many say to a guy like me; oh be quiet how do you know! Scriptures spell it out as to what would be going on in the world and with people when the time is approaching, and no we can’t know the hour but we can know and even see it all on the horizon up the road of the Ways of The World, which is the Beast System now; and how else did this evil system take control of nearly the entire human race like it has for the last 2 years without being a demonic antichrist beast and having its power provided to it from the supernatural world and the darkest deepest pits of hell!
“2Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and encourage with every form of patient instruction. 3For the time will come when men will not tolerate sound doctrine, but with itching ears they will gather around themselves teachers to suit their own desires. 4So they will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.” 2 Timothy 4:2-4
Though I shun many people these days, I don’t hate people, I pity them, and wish they could all wake up and see better or at all, so they could love Jesus and be saved, but they are so lost and deluded many of them, but then there are those who really are not lost in that sense but do wrong because they love it and worship Satan; which is why I’m so cautious about opening up to people in general as many are usurping the powers of Satan and are dangerous to us or in the least a complete waste of time; so they should be avoided completely! I’ve run into many such people on this worldwide web, like a spider’s web; and some are very clever at it! I’ve run into both types of persons on this Word Press far fewer than I would if I had Facebook, but they are here too playing games and tricks, so it’s a minefield everywhere with snares of the Devil abounding and I should shut up? Sorry not going to happen, I say to them and told even powerful political enemies here in my region the same to their faces that I will not stop speaking truth the Truth that the Holy Spirit of God has shown me and I will do God’s will whatever it is. So if they want me to shut up that bad they will need to do it with an act of violence, but there again no problem because my soul belongs to Jesus and our Father in heaven so I am not afraid of anything in existence other than God’s Wrath; I pray I will be a bit worthy to the level that He will forgive me for my foolish and sinful or weak nature at times during my lifetime here! I’ve lived a fairly upright life, but, I too have sinned egregiously as I see well enough I could have always done so much better in many things, even thoughts! As Scriptures teach us that with God if we even think about the sins of another and vicariously live in their wrong thoughts or temptations and behaviors we are partaking of their dirty acts of sin and are also sinful or as I say it, guilt by association, so I may not have gone out and done the act but if I accepted that other person’s sin t my heart or mind as a pleasure or enjoyment in any way; I have sinned! My soul is stained, absolutely, but I have tried to be a good person and live within man’s laws it’s been easy for me to succeed with that, but, the part about keeping my robe spotless that wasn’t as simple and I have messed up over my lifetime which any person does because is impossible for any human to be worthy and sin free totally!
All I can say is I always think of the film that God did want made, The Passion of The Christ which each Easter I watch it and weep like a child, I’m not ashamed to say that at all or even do it in front of the world if I had to, because I should weep like a dirty rag who is so unworthy of what our Lord God has given to us and how much love He has for us! And we all should weep that way when envisioning what Jesus Christ did for us and gave to us out of pure love, whether if watching that film or reading Holy Scriptures and just meditating on this Truth! So I pray that if I can be forgiven say even as Dismas was who was a criminal and scoundrel of his own admission deserving his punishment but that obviously and surely Jesus did not as he plainly could see this; and with his own admission from his own cross next to our Lord who told Dismas face to face he was forgiven; then there is absolutely hope for any of us! But we have to be totally humble and sorry while providing Jesus with our genuine heart full of respect, admiration, devotion and all the love we have in us, devoted to Him alone; to that full extent! Then and only then are we brought through the narrow gate led by His right hand of righteousness to be in bliss forever! Amen.

Had to smile when I read holy toledo… that was a blast from the past.
This leader you write of that you followed at one time so reminds me of the following passage and how people who are viewed as leaders LOVE THE PRAISE OF MEN, more than the Praise of God.
Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue: For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God. (John 12:42,43).
I was happy to read you unplugged from this woman who is obviously stuck on herself and only seeks recognition to how can someone praise her up more. I’m thankful the red flag went up for you and were no longer taken by her false doctrine! I offer to you Galatians 5:1. Praise God for His Holy Spirit which gives you discernment of where to stay clear of.
Everything you have disclosed here is showing that we are right on schedule for the return of our Lord. People say to me can you believe the condition the world is in, and I say yes we are on shedule for Christs return for it is written the world will be at it’s worst not it’s best. People are forever searching for the love they so desperately need and fall short by not looking solely to the Lord who enompasses all answers any one of us ever seek!
I understand your being fed up on seeing so much on the internet and wanted to say calm down brother, yet as long as you allow the spirit of God to speak through you many things just need to roll off you like water off a ducks back. We must heed what revelation tells us such as let the unjust be unjust and let the righteous be righteous for Christ will set it all in order at His return. (Revelation 22:10-15).
Don’t fret at all you have done wrong as that is what repentance is for. Your sins are gone as far as the east is from the west, and you now live under the grace of God.

Hey holy Toledo I heard in an old movie and never forgot it LOL! But it really stuck after I met Paul Newman when working on a film set and because I liked him as a person, as well he was from Ohio so it was ingrained in my brain.
Yes thank you for the reminder about the Pharisees which I had read that about them a while ago and it fits what you said very well! So good of you to expand on that leader praise thing and keeping one’s keen focus on what traits some people project and it can be obvious or subtle; so buyer beware, especially when it came to that lady so full of herself and only like 30 with so much to learn! The only problem with that is these days I don’t know that many of these people have the time to drag out their life lessons like they are doing!
I agree with you 100% Julia about where things are headed in a hurry and the signs are very evident and plain for anyone who is capable having a mind that functions on basic impulse even, can get a grip on what is important and what isn’t!
I loved how you put this about how people react to hearing bold strong affirmation of the Word of God! It seemed OK for them to turn the Temple of God into a flea market using Caesar’s coins, and they even marveled at Jesus’ telling them to render unto Caesar’s the coins of Caesar’s, but Jesus had every right to be angry at the money changers for what they did.
