Anyone can say they love the Lord, but we are told there is a way to know if people are truly serving God or just wearing a mask to fit in. The life of the Believer is not like the life of one drawn to all this world offers. They are labeled as Jesus freaks, crazy, and unlearned which as a true believer knows it is a label worth having to suffer for their Saviour and scripture tells us this. (1 Corinthians 1:18,21) For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

 Oh’ how the people honor God with their mouth only to set their hands to the ways that are not of Him! God views this daily and yet His hope for man is that we repent and turn to Him from what the world offers as solid, for He is the true foundation and Rock we need to take comfort in (Isaiah 29:13-15) Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men. Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid. Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from the Lord, and their works are in the dark, and they say, Who seeth us? and who knoweth us?

 People can hear the word of God even daily yet if it is not applied to their life then anything read or heard of the word is void, this can easily be seen for actions truly do speak louder than words. When we as Believers apply the word of God to our life it shows on the outside to all who are around us as we let our lights shine in the darkness. It is written if a person hears only the word and not speak it then it’s like looking in the mirror for a change which the mirror does not reflect!  (James 1:22,23) But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass.
