Tearing Down Strongholds

Through the knowledge of God we learn we have power to bring down the strongholds in our lives!

If we were to go through life with the understanding that whatever comes against us we have the power through God to shut it down and remove it, many do not believe it and therefore live a defeated life. But scripture teaches us that our own right hand can save us! (Job 40:11-14) Cast abroad the rage of thy wrath:and behold everyone that is proud, and abase him. Look on everyone that is proud, and bring him low;and tread down the wicked in their place. Hide them in the dust together;and bind their faces in secret. Then will I also confess unto thee that thine own right hand can save thee.

Wicked people have no power over those who are in Christ. The wicked are subject to the hand of the Righteous (Psalm 7:10,11) My defense is of God,which saveth the upright in heart. God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.

When life seems overwhelming it is good to know we serve a mighty God who never slumbers nor sleeps, for the darkness is as the light to him. There is a peace in knowing we are always watched over (Isaiah 63:8) For he said, surely they are my people, children that will not lie;so he was their Saviour.

One of the best scriptures we have of the power our own Saviour has given us,is he has overcome the world.“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me you might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation:but be of good cheer;I have overcome the world:.(John 16:33).

I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me!
