Although this is a repost, it bears repeating for the times we live in.

 It is easy to be discouraged as a Christian in todays world for we have legislature passing laws which we as believers know are against the just ways of God whom we serve. But through eyes of Faith we find the hope of a government that will have no end set forth by a righteous God! (Isaiah 9:6,7) For unto us a child is born,unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform it.

 Jesus carried this knowledge within Him of an Eternal world government of which He would one day rule. And as He was presented before Pilates government of His day He knew in His heart that his Father’s will would be done and remained silent before the ruling that He was to be crucified (Matthew 27:12,13) And when he was accused of the chief priests and elders, he answered nothing. Then said Pilate unto him, Hearest thou not how many things they witness against thee? And he answered him never a word; insomuch that the governor marveled greatly.

 Jesus knew that although Pilate was a man in authority it was His Father who held all power! He remained silent and let God be God (John 19:10,11) Then saith Pilate unto him, Speakest thou not unto me? knowest thou not that I have power to crucify thee, and have power to release thee? Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin.

 Something people miss in scripture was that even Pilates wife tried to tell him to let Jesus go,because of many things she had suffered from a dream! (Matthew 27:19) When he was set down on the judgement seat, his wife sent unto him, saying, Have thou nothing to do with that just man:for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him.

 Our President today has not hesitated to support the sin of America with the homosexual agenda and same sex marriage laws then stand before the nation and speak the word of God out one side of his mouth and his laws of deceitfullness out of the other! The word of God teaches us a person like that cannot be trusted! (James 5:8) A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.

 If the President truly knew the laws of Justice for our land he would be setting in the earth the ways of God and not be manipulated into passing laws to support the power of sin! (Romans 1:27-32),(Leviticus 18:22).Instead we have someone who is sitting on both sides of the fence so he makes everyone happy. An abomination in the eyes of God is not a way to bring peace to the land. We need to know even if the wicked are shown kindness that he still will not learn righteousness! (Isaiah 26:10 & 13) Let favour be shewed to the wicked,yet will he not learn righteousness: in the land of uprightness will he deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of the Lord. O Lord our God,other lords beside thee have had dominion over us: but by thee only will we make mention of thy name.

 If we follow the teachings of Christ,then we do not accept the ways of the wicked,and stand for the right even if our government here sides with the wickedness of the perverse. We are called to be a shining light in a world of darkness

 (Proverbs 4:14 & 18) Enter not into the path of the wicked,and go not in the way of evil men .But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.

 For those who truly love the Lord they know that the day will come when He will have full reign, and His righteous ways will be set for all eternity in the earth! When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule,the people mourn (Proverbs 29:2).
