This post is for all who have had or are in the midst of the trying of their faith. Sometimes in a situation when we’re between a rock and a hard place and it seems as though there is no clear answer in sight, it is then we look up and say Father in my own strength I did my best and now I am at a crossroad in life and rely solely upon your will and not my own! (Psalm 40:1-5) I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, our of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord. Blessed is that man that maketh the Lord his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies. Many, O Lord my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.
Oh how heavy a heart we have when we do what is right and yet it is viewed as wrong by the world. Even though those around us cannot see our heart, we can be assured the one who made it will keep us no matter what, as we put our trust and faith in Him! When we walk and stay focused on Him the world dims as we walk closer to the light and knowledge of Christ. (1 Corinthians 2:9,10) But it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
We know it is written the Lord will never leave us nor forsake us, and it is at the deepest darkest times of our life He walks the closest! (Jeremiah 14:8,9) O the hope of Israel, the Saviour thereof in time of trouble, why shouldest thou be as a stranger in the land, and as a wayfaring man that turneth aside to tarry for a night? Why should thou be as a man astonied, as a mighty man that cannot save? yet thou, O Lord, art in the midst of us, and we are called by thy name; leave us not.
Many times throughout life our faith is tested, and even though it may be disheartening at the time scripture teaches it is needful, as it truly does bring us closer to God and strengthens our faith (James 1:2-7) My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
There are times when in the journey of faith that the words “be still and know that I am God” is the means to a greater understanding of Him and a deeper clearer faith. It is why we can “glory in tribulations… and various situations as it is all for our growth into the grace of Him. 🙂

How many times in ones life have we tried doing something and it just doesn’t seem like there is any progress, when all along God was there saying, not now, wait. Eventually there was a different way or path that was better for us. Follow God’s way and not the way of the world ( babylon ).
Excellent comment Chuck…….. We want things in our time, but Gods timing is always whats best for us. Many Blessings.
