Why do so many struggle to find a church to be a part of? The answer is easy, as the world says you need to go to church scripture teaches us we are the church and therein lies the difference. In our Lords own words He says there is not a house or temple in which He dwells, since He fills the whole earth. He cannot be contained within a building. Just as Moses spoke with God on Mount Sinai, so today do His people serve and speak to Him outside an established building. If God says He does not dwell in temples made with hands I believe Him! Howbeit the most high dwelleth not in temples made with hands;as saith the prophet,Heaven is my throne,and earth is my footstool:what house will ye build me?saith the Lord:or what is the place of my rest?Hath not my hands made all these things?(Acts 7:48-50).

 It is a matter of faith and believing in the unseen do we understand the true spiritual church our Lord came to establish within the earth! ( Hebrews 11:1)“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” 

 Many people have to see to believe, just as Thomas would not believe unless He could see the print of the nails in Jesus’ hands and thrust his hand into his side! And so it is with the faith of many who have to see something solid as a building will they then believe and have faith. ( John 20:24-29). Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

 IF GOD DOES NOT DWELL IN TEMPLES MADE WITH HANDS THEN WHERE IS HE?

 The true spiritual church of Christ has been built through the Holy Spirit of which He is the chief corner stone rejected of men to this day! (Ephesians 2:18-22)For through him we both have access by one spirit unto the Father. Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners,but fellow-citizens with the saints,and of the household of God;And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets,Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

 The world teaches a church has many facets to it such as a building, one must be ordained, have a Pastor or priest, one must be sanctified, and there is a gathering and assembling together. Within the following posts we will learn that Christ Himself has fulfilled every one of them when He created “The True Church Of Christ”.

 The world teaches those who are ordained of God must go to a seminary to be taught, but the members of the true spiritual church of Christ has believers ordained by God and not man, not for a church office but to be a fruitful christian with works of righteousness. It is the Lord who ordains us for His work (John 15:16) Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

 There is not one place in scripture we can read that Jesus went into the synagogue of His day to listen to their sermon, but He did however teach in them. (Matthew 4:23),(Mark 1:38,39),(Luke 4:15,16),)(John 7:28,29). Even today those who are called and taught by God teach the will of the Father! Jesus said:No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me (John 6:44,45).

 The world is full of pastors and priests ordained by man, but the true church of Christ has our Lord as the High Priest over the house of God! (Hebrews 9:1) But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building.

 Our Lord was not of the world nor are we, and has chose us for the ministry we are called to. Although the world has many denominations and churches, the true church of Christ is the “Ministry of Reconciliation.” A Ministry the body of believers in Christ are a part of!(2 Corinthians 5:17-21) Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
