The world has a way of singling out people of faith as being very different and this is true, we are very different from the world for we are no longer of it’s ways. We are considered to be a fool,because we are not of the world anymore,when in all reality God has made the wisdom of this world foolishness.(1 Corinthians 1:25-28) Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men;and the weakness of God is stronger than men. For ye see your calling,brethren,how that not many wise men after the flesh,not many mighty,not many noble,are called:But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise;and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;and base things of the world,and things which are despised hath God chosen,yea, and things which are not,to bring to nought things that are.

 We are chosen in the furnace of affliction for His sake, and are refined for His purpose! (Isaiah 48:10-12) Behold,I have refined thee,but not with silver;I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction. For mine own sake,even for mine own sake,will I do it:for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another. Hearken unto me,O Jacob and Israel,my called;I am he;I am the first,I also am the last.

 Jesus entered the world to carry out His Fathers will just as the elect are to do when they are called of God. It is written not all will hear and accept the message you are bringing them because the world speaks of it’s own (1 John 4:5,6) They are of the world:therefore speak they of the world,and the world heareth them. We are of God:he that knoweth God heareth us;he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth,and the spirit of error.

 As christians we do not have to be justified by the world, for it is God who justifies His elect (Romans 8:33).Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth.

 Although our message may not be received, we should not waste precious time trying to convince anyone of the good news we are trying to share with them. Our Lord merely spoke His Fathers words and moved on “And whosoever shall not receive you,nor hear your words,when ye depart out of that house or city,shake off the dust of your feet. Verily I sat unto you,it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of Judgement, than for that city”.(Matthew 10:14,15).
