Benefit’s of knowing the Lord

There are so many benefit’s in knowing the Lord, and when we love and do Gods will the benefit’s are endless. Those who choose to do evil will not benefit from the knowledge and wisdom of the Lord! (Proverbs 28:5) Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the LORD understand all things.

David knew there are many benefits in knowing and serving the Lord, and when he wrote the psalms he even writes of some of them (Psalm 103:1-6) A Psalm of David. Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s. The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.

We are showered daily with many blessings from the Lord who has ascended on high to receive gifts for us (Psalm 68:18-20) Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell among them. Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah. He that is our God is the God of salvation; and unto GOD the Lord belong the issues from death.

For those who lived their life for the Lord will one day be blessed by being called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb! Another benefit only reserved for the saint’s (Revelation 19:7-10) Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God. And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
