Turn To Christ

God is known as the Father of lights and any perfect gift we receive can only come from Him! (James 1:17) We know what a wonderful gift He has given us through Christ. On the road to Damascus Paul received instruction from Jesus Himself that he was to be a minister and witness. His mission in life was to then open the eyes of the Gentiles and turn them from darkness to light, and to tell of the faith that is found in Christ! (Acts 26:14-18). And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest. But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee; Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

When people turn from serving the law of Moses and turn to Christ then the veil that is over their heart will be removed and they will find liberty in Christ.(Isaiah 25:7-9). Christ is the end of the law and by His Spirit we are not freed to do our will, but the will of God. (2 Corinthians 3:14-18). But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Flesh and blood cannot inherit heaven, but to repent and turn to Christ is never a bad decision for any one of us, for heaven is a real place and unfortunately so is hell! There is forgiveness for those who come to Christ with a genuine repentant heart, and there is no time like the present to turn to Him……….(Psalm 103:11-13). For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him.

Our lives are without peace until we come to Christ who is our only hope. By the faith we place in Him do we find peace and strength for the day! (Romans 5:1-6) Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
