The true gospel is the good news of our Father’s kingdom literally coming to fill the whole earth with His righteous ways. A kingdom is a form of government headed by a monarch. Christ is the King of God’s kingdom, and He teaches us the importance of the Father’s kingdom in His model prayer known as The Lord’s Prayer. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven. His kingdom already rules in heaven; shortly it will rule completely on earth.

This is the good news proclaimed in the four gospels in the so-called “New Testament” of the Bible.  Many scriptures back this up.  “Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye,and believe the gospel” (Mark 1:14-15).  Believe what gospel?  The “gospel of the kingdom of God.”  He is saying, God’s government is here. …
