The worlds conversation vs the word of God

Scripture instructs us not all who claim christianity are following the one true Christ. We are to test the spirits within people to see if they be of God! The spirit of God is far different than the spirit of the world. An excellent indication is when a person has the holy spirit dwelling within, it is seldom heard when having conversations with those of the world. (1 John 4:5,6) They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

As christians we are viewed as very different from those around us, and those of the world do not hesitate to treat us as unlearned individuals. Our saving grace is that the word of God teaches the wisdom of the world is foolishness in the eyes of God. The holy spirit allows one to retain the wisdom of God, but the worlds wisdom perishes with the using! God is brilliant in the way He allows the world to believe they are wise, yet saves those who love and accept His ways and not the worlds (1 Corinthians 1:18-21) For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

For all who have been saved by the grace of God remember their old conversations spoken of in a worldly fashion, but now realize the loving kindness God has shown through repentance and turning from the sin which so easily beset us (Ephesians 2:1-10) And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

There is joy in the Lord indeed, and sadly there is also the pain in seeing our loved ones and others who claim to be in the Lord yet we know through their conversations they are far from the cross as their focus is on worldly things (Philippians 3:17-21) Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample. (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things. For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
