Lazarus was the perfect example in the New Testament that shows us the resurrection power of what Christ accomplished at the cross. When Jesus told Martha her brother would rise again she replied it would be in the resurrection at the last day, She learned a very important message that day that we too can learn from, which is to believe in Christ is life giving! (John 11:21-26). Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died. But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee. Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again. Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day. Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
The knowledge of Christ surpasses any knowledge we can possibly gain in this life. For those who love and serve the Lord will one day be raised from the grave by Christs’ resurrection power. Paul knew that the loss of material things on earth is not as important as if we were to lose the knowledge of Christ which cannot be replaced! (Philippians 3:7-11) But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
In the book of acts we learn of the outpouring of the holy spirit which gave the power of Christs resurrection that caused all to be of one mind and heart in Him! (Acts 4:31-33) And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness. And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common. And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.
There are no words or enough time to praise and thank God enough for sending us His Son to die for our sins. All we can do is live our life for Him and to witness to others of His resurrection power!

Amen!
