There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. (Romans 8:1,2).

The worlds religion’s allow many to believe they are IN CHRIST by merely attending an hour service, or are busy doing works that can never redeem anyone. It is when we are not among the huge crowds that gather and believe the words our Lord spoke “Where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them”, and do not know that IN CHRIST even our own will turn from us! (John 1:10-13) He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

It has been established to be IN CHRIST means we are as a square peg in a round hole. Christ was not of the world and neither are those who are in Him and do His will. We have a strong confirmation that we are IN CHRIST when those around us seem to hear each other but not us, therefore we know if we are not heard with our conversations of Christ they are not of God (1 John 4:4:-6) Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

It’s a hard concept to understand how can a person be in the world yet are not of it? It sounds crazy to the fleshly mind, but those IN CHRIST are living in the spirit and not the flesh and it’s ways. Those of the world will love and accept their own but our Lord has chosen us to not be of the world, for He has chosen us out of the world to be IN CHRIST ( John 15:18-20) If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.  If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. (1 John 2:4-6).
