Does how we live affect Gods judgment?

There are many examples given to us in scripture of how our choices move the hand of God across the land. In the garden of Eden we see Adam and Eve were given the choice of free will to obey God or to defy Him and choose their own way. By their choice God had to send them out of the garden to protect the tree of life (Genesis 3:22-24) And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

There is no greater lesson we have of Blessings and Curses which is found in Deuteronomy chapter 28 where we learn that how we live truly does affect Gods judgment! We can live under Gods blessings, or live under Gods curses by the choices we make . Now fast forward to our modern day and see has man learned how important it is to serve God over his own ways, or is there still rebellion present in the earth?

Many generations ago God addressed the sin of homosexuality and sodomy by the destruction of sodom and go-mor’-rah a sin still present in our world today, and still an abomination in His eyes of which He will pass judgment on. Then there is the issue of abortion which has taken thousands of innocent lives God created for a purpose! Man playing God will not for any reason be alright in His eyes (Romans 1:26-32)

Gods way is one of peace and when we see such unsettling things, we must remember God is on the throne and He is not the author of confusion for it is the rebellion of man that causes chaos. (1 Corinthians 14:33). By man not choosing to fear God and His counsel he has caused many consequences that could have been avoided, and Gods judgment ensues (Proverbs 1:29-33) For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD: They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof. Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices. For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them. But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.

We have weather patterns more devastating then ever today and the plague of diseases taking many lives. With previous lessons so clear in scripture of Gods control in the earth how can we not know that our choices affect Gods judgment in the earth?
