Our Lord never followed the traditions of men when He walked the earth nor would He do so today. Many would not think of christmas as a tradition of men,but it most assuredly is. How many times do we hear at this time of year people saying we’re doing a “New tradition” this year. It sounds harmless after all there’s so much to like about it such as the special food only made at this time of year, special decorations, special clothes to wear whats not to like.

Sadly a lot since scripture teaches us to beware of mans traditions! (Colossians 2:8) Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

DO TRADITIONS BRING HONOR TO GOD? Does lying honor God? Of course it doesn’t and is probably not the best thing to do since we are told no liar will inherit heaven. (Revelation 22:14,15). Yet many lie at this time of year to their children by telling them santa will be bringing them a bunch of gift’s and they need to put out a plate of cookies and milk. 🥛🍪

GOD IS REPLACED BY AN IMAGINARY PERSON NAMED SANTA! 🎅

The great deceiver of the christian soul is the one who is called satan, and we are instructed to flee from him at all costs. It is no coincidence that out of all the letters in the entire alphabet and words innumerable one could use there is the five simple letters whose name is satan-santa. Almighty God is replaced by this well crafted name so many children scream as the words of the song says of this imposter “Here comes santa claus” He sees you when your sleeping, He knows when your awake, He knows if you’ve been bad or good”.

Keeping God in mind we should know ONLY GOD CAN see us when we’re sleeping ONLY GOD KNOWS when we’re awake. ONLY GOD KNOWS if we’ve been bad or good NOT santa.

GOD IS REPLACED as a big fat jolly fellow with rosy cheeks who absolutely adores children as they scream his name santa santa once a year. This is not making God happy, but satan has a big smile on his face as so many once again are being deceived by celebrating this tradition of men!

Where did the idea of massive gift giving at this time come from anyways? Gift giving came about when the three wise men brought gifts to the Christ child when He was born, but want to know another deception……… there were NOT three wise men? There were however wise men bringing THREE GIFT’S of Gold, frankensence, and Myrrh. (Matthew 2:1,11) Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.

How is it so many who claim christianity say they believe the word of God, yet do not question why the word christmas is not once mentioned in the entire bible? There’s a reason for that as our Lord plainly did not follow traditions of men, and did not leave instruction‘s at His death for His follower’s to do so either. The way of the world is a far cry from the way of a true follower of Christ! How many have put their hand to the plough, but turn back to what they have been called from? (Luke 9:57-62).
