For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness. Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron; Because they rebelled against the words of God, and contemned the counsel of the most High: Therefore he brought down their heart with labour; they fell down, and there was none to help. Then they cried unto the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them out of their distresses. He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and brake their bands in sunder. Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! (Psalm 107:9-15).
How many people who love the Lord been ridiculed and mocked, yet is not that part of the christian walk to be persecuted. ( 2 Timothy 3:12). Moses, Aaron, and Samuel all called upon the name of the Lord and was answered by Him (Psalm 99:5-9) Exalt ye the Lord our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy; Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the Lord, and he answered them. He spake unto them in the cloudy pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the ordinance that he gave them. Thou answeredst them, O Lord our God: thou wast a God that forgavest them, though thou tookest vengeance of their inventions. Exalt the Lord our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the Lord our God is holy.
When we are in trouble and cry unto the Lord He hears us as well. Even though our enemies surround us we know we are never alone and the presence of God is always in our midst! (Psalm 138:3-7), 3 In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.4 All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O Lord, when they hear the words of thy mouth.5 Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the Lord: for great is the glory of the Lord.6 Though the Lord be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me. (Matthew 18:19,20).
I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications. Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live. The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow. Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul. Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful. The LORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me. (Psalm 116:1-6).

Amen. Many forget to call on the Lord….FIRST! Thank you, God, for hearing my voice and for your grace, supplications, and love!
Be Blessed in your walk with Christ my Dear.
