The guide book to heaven and hell

How fortunate we are to have a bible that is a guide book for our life allowing us to learn what leads us to heaven and also what leads us to hell. Scripture does not make it complicated to understand what behaviour leads us to the kingdom of God for all eternity or to total separation from God to the pit of hell.

The following passages give us an outline of what we must do or not do to enter the kingdom of God.

Ephesians 5:1-8

1 Corinthians 6:9-11

When the Son of man shall come in His glory then will there be the separation of the sheep on His right hand who were faithful and followed Him, and the rebellious goats on His left hand who chose their own will sadly to their own destruction (Matthew 15:31-46).

For those who say a kind loving and just God would never send anyone to a place of torment such as hell, the answer is we send ourselves there by our choice to live away from the will of God. Sadly in the story of the rich man and Lazarus we see the rich man did not take to heart the scripture that he should have trusted in God and not uncertain riches. (Luke 16:19-31).

Psalm 49 is a brutally honest account of the destiny of those who think a lot of money is a blessing, while totally disregarding it’s a life lived for self. (1 Timothy 6:17-19).

May we learn what the will of God is so that we may apply it to our life and one day spend eternity with the one who chose to die so that we may live forever!

For all people will walk every one in the name of his god, and we will walk in the name of the LORD our God for ever and ever. (Micah 4:5).

  1. There is a thing about choice and its freedom thereof. It is relative to a law in physics that states: for every action there is a reaction. Likewise in choices, for there is a consequence for every choice. LOLGB+
