We live in a world that more and more are searching for new ways to please themselves and not God. From the killing of the innocents,killings of Christians to the abominable practice of same sex unions. Yet to this day God is still looking down from heaven upon man to see if any are searching for Him. (Psalm 53:2,3) God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God. Every one of them is gone back; they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

God is most upright in His ways and through the just acts we live is our path weighed with Him. People learn righteousness by the judgment God has placed in the earth. Sadly though even if the wicked are shown the right way they simply do not learn it (Isaiah 26:7-10) The way of the just is uprightness: thou, most upright, dost weigh the path of the just. Yea, in the way of thy judgments, O Lord, have we waited for thee; the desire of our soul is to thy name, and to the remembrance of thee. With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea,with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness. Let favour be shewed to the wicked, yet will he not learn righteousness: in the land of uprightness, will he deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of the Lord.

Christians know of the importance of prayer in their lives, yet the sacrifice of the wicked is considered to be an abomination to God as their heart is not set right on Him (Proverbs 15:8,9) The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord: but the prayer of the upright is his delight. The way of the wicked is an abomination unto the Lord: but he loveth him that followeth after righteousness.

Part of staying upright in the eyes of God is to not take company with anyone that is angry lest we learn their ways and be led down the wrong path that is far from God! (Proverbs 22:24,25) Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious man thou shalt not go: Lest thou learn his ways, and get a snare to thy soul.
