My Garden is His

Awake, O north wind; and come, thou south; blow upon my garden, that the spices thereof may flow out. Let my beloved come into His garden, and eat His pleasant fruits.”

  1. Thank you for sharing this post, Julia. I just planted my first tomato seeds of the year yesterday and I’m hoping that eventually my tomatoes look like the ones in this picture.

“Now in the place where He was crucified there was a garden…”

    I love gardens.

It is interesting that “excavations have found evidence of an ancient garden, including soil samples, olive trees, and grapevines, supporting the biblical account of the area.”

I believe there was a garden because the Bible tells me so but it is always interesting when someone finds something like the excavations they have made in Jerusalem just outside of the city walls of that day.

    • I too love hearing of the different excavations that uncover hidden treasures of the past, especially in the Holy land! Where I grew up us kids would uncover many arrowheads and old coins, and I remember the excitement of finding each and every one of them, and those in Jerusalem are keys to our heritage. 🏺⚱️⚒️⛏️

Gardens are life giving filled with such goodness, not to mention they keep you from eating highly processed foods of our day Chris. 🍅🍅🍅

      Be Blessed
