“Thou Shalt Not Kill”–Usurping God’s Authority in Taking Life

The commandment, “Thou shalt not kill,” really should read, “Thou shalt not murder.”  “Murder” denotes malice aforethought, a deliberately selfish act in taking a life.

Hands that shed innocent blood” is one of the seven things that the LORD (Yahweh) hates and is an abomination to Him (1).

    We do not have to look far to see those who are moved by thinking they have the power to manipulate another person, sadly even to the point of taking their life. Pharmakeia is the manipulating of a person through pharmacutical drugs. An evil that gives another the power to play God! Yes there is medication today that can help with symptoms, but when drugs are used to manipulate and take the precious life of His children He will move on their behalf.

    May His strength be yours Always.
