Life Out of Death–The Ultimate Paradox

A paradox is “a statement that seems contradictory or absurd but is actually valid or true.”  Life coming out of death is a paradox.    Yet any seed must lose its identity before it will spring back to life in another more glorious fruitful form.  The seed rots and dies in the moist earth and then, through a miraculous Lifeforce, it multiplies itself at the harvest.  One grain of corn yields two or more ears of golden corn.

  1. As a retired farmer I can tell you truly that a seed that rots in the ground never germinates. Viable seeds that germinate has life innate while in its dormancy. That life rises when in contact with fertile soil and living moisture. A good bean seed planted in good moist soil will germinate into a bean seedling and with tender care and blessings of heaven in the climate, will grow into a bean plant that produces bean flowers that become beans for harvest which is the fruit of the plant producing seed after its kind. When we go dormmate (death) with the begotten viability through the Holy Spirit, germination (resurrection) is the blessed assurance we have while in that state of dormancy, all made possible by God on the cross. To be born again one must be begotten first for therein lies the viability of promise. LOLGB+

    • Very well said “In it’s dormancy” a seed germinates. I think that is what the author meant and I am thankful for the way you have clarified this.

There is nothing better than being a farmer. Good honest work in line with dependency on Gods blessed rain. 🙂

      Stay the course

      • I saw an attempt to an analogy of seeds, but seeds rotting first was totally wrong. I hope I brought some light to a truth. LOLGB+

      • I appreciate what you have said. Rotted seeds will never have the ability to produce a plant let alone bear any fruit. You have certainly shed light on this.
